This is a little collaged frame I did earlier this year and forgot about it until I found it in a pile of stuff to be stored away as done.

Journal Covers

These two journals were identical when I started out.  The dark journal cover was done when I was angry about something - can you tell - dark and loaded with stuff.  The journal on the right side was done just for fun.  Wow - who needs mood rings - just look at our craft projects.

In any event, they were both done "just because".

I created this page for 7 Dots Studio's current challenge (link under graphic) and the project is to feature a favorite quote.  I chose the quote: "To live is the rarest thing in the world.  Most people just exist."  - Oscar Wilde

I used Fortune Teller paper and Finnabair mechanicals.

BLUE FERN STUDIO AUGUST CHALLENGE

The challenge at Blue Fern Studio for August is a bit different - no sketch, but, rather, to use one of three sets of paper:  Attic Charm, Seaside Cottage or Tranquility.  All three of these sets of paper are so gorgeous.  I opted for Attic Charm and used Calling Card, Haberdashery and Sachet pages from the set.  I also used Blue Fern Studio's Wild Flourish Bundle chipboard.
