Sorry about the poor quality of my picture - but I was moving around my office/craft room and haven't come up with a good spot to take pics as yet - so, it's setting in front of a covered piece of equipment.
Today, Shirley has asked us to design some cards for Inspiration Challenge 70 - Fourth of July. It's easy to be inspired by all patriotic holidays, as my husband is a 24 year Army veteran and my son is in the Air Force and has been since 1997.
Card Recipe:
Stamp Sets: MFP's All Postal, Be Proud and USA Heroes
Paper: MFP White Heavy Premium 140 lb. CS; SU Bashful Blue CS and Paper Studio DP
Ink: Copics: B97, 95, 93 and 91; R27, 24 and 22
Accessories: Sizzix EF; SB Matting Basic Dies B; Paper Distressing Tool
Check out these beautiful pics for the challenge:
Aren't these gorgeous. I chose picture 1 - but look at No. 2 - the watermelon - yummy - I love watermelon and, finally, No. 3 a gorgeous light show! So come and join us - and, remember, the weekly winner wins a stamp set.

Perfect card for this time of year and for your very patriotic family. Love that this looks like a postcard and such great colors. Well done. My father retired from the Air Force, my husband retired from the Army and the National Guard (not quite sure how that happened), my mother retired from the AF Civil Service, and my Sister worked at the Pentagon - I always felt like an outsider! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHugz and Happy 4th tomorrow!
Your card is so pretty. I love the paper and this is one of my favorite MFP sets. I really like the primitive star. Thanks, to your son and Hubby for serving our country.
