Mark's Finest Stamp Shop - Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge 240 - Bleach
Pat has given us a challenge this week that is a technique new to me. Emboss on dark paper, let it dry (or dry it with Heat Gun), and color in the image. On my card, I used the set Snowflakes from Mark's Finest Stamp Shop - but I only bleached out the middle of each snowflake and, rather than using Copics, I used acrylic paint to color the centers. I actually had to bleach out the centers 3-4 times in order for it to lighten up enough to add color. So, why not join us and grab a bit of bleach from your laundry room - and give this a try. Remember, there is always a prize to the weekly winner. If you have time, please leave some love on the blogs of the Design Team.
Card Recipe:
Stamp: Snowflakes from Mark's Finest Stamp Shop
Paper: SU Night of Navy; Silver CS; Bo Bunny DP scrap
Paint: Winter Blue Acrylic Paint
Accessories: SB A&B Matting Basic Dies; Ranger EP
Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you at the challenge - later gator!

Very pretty Kathy! A fun challenge and I like how you did the centers. Great card. Hugz
ReplyDeleteGreat idea of using the snowflakes and bleaching the center. Looks like you have added coordinating paper for the center. Your bleach technique worked well.
