Good Sunday Morning! Today, I'm sharing a piece made from two Dollar Store frames which I have had finished for a few days, but hadn't had time to get it up on my blog or Facebook. As I keep moving it around, I decided it was time to share it and then move it to a shelf.
This piece was inspired by Marta Lapkowska - again!! Poor Marta - she must think I am her shadow. In any event, she did a piece that is gorgeous and I am attaching links to her blog/YouTube on this project:
Frames Details:
2 Dollar Store frames - one 5x7 and one 4x6
Tons of Finnabair Metals and also a ton of Flying Unicorn metals
Mediums: Finnabair Art Basics Heavy Black Gesso; Finnabair Art Basics 3D Matte Gel; Finnabair Art Basics Heavy White Gesso (dry brushed on the piece)
Finnabair Licorice Glass Beads
Colors: Lumiere Metallics: Halo Violet Gold; Pearlescent Magenta; Pearl Turquoise and a bit of Emerald Green
Chipboard by Sa Crafters and Creative Embellishments
Misc.: Paper Flowers for fillers
And, it's a good thing the frame has a stand on the back - because it now weighs a ton!!
Thanks for stopping by.
Wow, this is amazing. I love every wonderful detail of it. Looks like it was a lot of work, but definitely worth it when you see the finished project.
