my sweet and very, very talented friend, Shirley/Shirt - her name on SCS is wannabecre8tive.  If you ever lose your mojo - go to Shirley's gallery - and you will find an abundance of beauty!

I chose one of Shirley's gorgeous cards to CASE - but she did hers in SU's Rich Razzleberry and had one of the lovely striped ribbons (I have to get some of that - it's awesome)!  I used the same image - but different colors.

Quick Note on Squigglefly

I just wanted to pass along that another new and awesome tutorial has been posted on the Squigglefly tutorial page.  The PDF downloadable tutorial is by Charlene Mitchell and you can learn how to resize and place digital images using Pages Plus, a free software program.  Also, just a reminder there are several video tutorials that are awesome, i.e., Combining Digital Images Into A New Single Image, Watercoloring with Twinkling H20s, Glittering Digital Images - just to name a few!  Be sure and drop by and check out all the helpful tutorials!

CCEE 1204 - Celebrate Australia Day

I've been asked to join the wonderful, talented (and so much fun too) group of Ladies at the CCEE Stampers challenge blog!!  The CCEE Stampers (Cheers & Challenges Eclectic Ensemble) are a group of amazingly talented, intelligent and feisty ladies - and I am so pleased to be able to work along side of them for the challenges.

There's Magic in the Air Challenge 01-26-2012

This image makes me giggle and smile - it is totally adorable - don't you think?  I mean - picture in your mind's eye - ribbons, graffiti, streamers up in the air - and amongst all that is an adorable frog ribbitting it's fun! 

The challenge this week is to be inspired (see picture below) and have fun using the colors or something that inspires you by this picture.

I used the colors from the inspiration image in my coloring and in my selected DP. 

Our challenges run for 2 weeks, so you have plenty of time to select one of Nina's adorable images from Paper Cupcakes and enter the challenge at There's Magic in the Air for a chance to win a prize.

Sneak Peeks (albeit a bit late) for the 1/21 Squigglefly Release

I'm not sure if it was Blogger or me - but I can post once again.  I had scheduled a few time/date certain posts and then when I tried to do a normal post - I couldn't get "any type" of post to work.  Well, I decided to try and post a challenge card a few minutes ago, and, as if nothing had been wrong for a couple of days, it just posted fine and dandy.  Well, I'm not going to attempt to figure this out - I'm just going to post!  I am going to put several cards in one post and give the descriptions - so, here we go - keep your fingers crossed!

Frances gave the challenge this week at CCEE Stampers - and it certainly turned out to be quite fun.  This is the Year of the Dragon according to the Chinese calendar - and Frances posted a site so that we could all find out what our sign is according to our birth date.  My sssssign isssss a ssssssnake (but,it did list some nice and not so flattering traits about my snake).  But, since I don't have a snake image, I do have this awesome dragon and fun sentiment.
