Winter Scenes - Sneak Peek - 11-26-2012



Yep - another sneak peek for you!  I used silver embossing powder on this new set titled Winter Scenes.  This is one of the new November releases from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  This set has 2 beautiful images, 3 different snowflakes and 6 sentiments!  I may use navy cardstock next time and white embossing power - I think that will be pretty!

Mountain Selections - Sneak Peek


This scene was created with images from a new Mark's Finest Paper's, a Heinrich Co.'s set titled Mountain Selections.  Each little image for the scene came from this way cool set.    Can I just say that there are 28 images in this set - all can be used for these scenic cards - or whatever else you might desire.  Mark's has several of these types of sets in the store - so there is a huge array of images for tons of scenes!  And, Mountain Selections is the newest addition to the scenic selections types of stamps!

Winter Chickadee Christmas Card


This Christmas card is for the QFTD challenge at Splitcoast Stampers.  I used a new stamp by Northwoods I recently purchased.  The new QFTD is Mrs Noofy (Sue) - and she has an awesome gallery.  I CASEd one of her "bird" cards.

Never-Ending Card at Tutorial Time on SpeedyTV


The tutorial today is how to make a never-ending card by Katie from our TTSTV DT.  This is the first time I've ever attempted one of these cards.  It really wasn't all that hard.  I got the base made quite quickly and then I decorated all 4 sides.  This awesome card turns inside of itself 4 different times for 4 different card faces!
So check out the cards from the DT over at SpeedyTV for some inspiration!  Remember, to join SpeedyTV is free and there's tons of challenges, gallery cards, etc. for you to enjoy!  Once you get to SpeedyTV - just click on the Tutorial Time tab and then click on the top and newest tutorial link.  There will be a wonderful stamp set given to the winner of the challenge!  Truly, this wasn't nearly as hard as it might look!!

Big City - Sneak Peek



This new city is called Big City and has 3 very cool images - and one of them is on this little gift card. And, it has 4 wonderful sentiments.  This little gift card is going to the daughter of a friend of mine who just bought her first home in New York - right down from Central Park!  Big City life will be so exciting for her!!

Just a Note - Sneak Peek

CCEE Stampers Challenge 11-22-2012


It's Thursday and a new challenge at the CCEE Stampers Challenge Blog.  Vicky Gould, one or our awesome and talented DT members is our challenge hostess this month.  For this week's challenge, Vicky has asked us to use the colors yellow, orange and brown and some DP.  I used orange, brown and yellow on my fish and cut out the hat, frame and lure from some DP in an old scrapbook kit I had in my stash to frame out Mr. Fish!

A Couple of Challenge Cards for Splitcoast




 
 
These two cards are for challenges at Splitcoast Stampers.  The top card is for Mother Mark's Teapot Tuesdays - and the card is going to a gentleman who was told his cancer was cleared up, however, in October of this  year - the doctors told him the last diagnosis was in error.  George now faces a life-threatening surgery - so our teapotter cards are going to this gentleman to deliver some smiles.
 
The second card is for this week's Featured Stamper 302 - Shadow's Mom (Lee-Anne).  I CASEd one of Lee-Anne's gorgeous cards in her honor as Featured Stamper.

Can You Digi It Challenge 23 - CAS


Today, it's time for a new challenge at Can You Digi It which will run for two weeks.  The following story board is the inspiration for the challenge.


Be sure and check out all the wonderful digi images, papers, and stamping supplies at Can You Digi It - it's a one stop shopping mall!  I guess you can tell which piece I used from the story board for my card.  Actually, it's a postcard die I used by Sizzix to create this Christmas piece.  Remember, the challenge runs for 2 weeks which gives you plenty of time to complete a card and drop it in for the challenge - and there is a prize to the winner!
