New Design Team Member - Woo Hoo!

I was asked to join the wonderful design team for Squigglefly - I was so excited and amazed!!  I've played in their challenges each week - which was always so much fun - and now I am on the team.  And, the team is comprised of so very much talent - and my sweet friend, Terri (you might know her as Brat Cards on SCS)!  I am a bit nervous - so everyone keep their fingers crossed for me!

I WANT TO WISH ALL MY FAMILY, FRIENDS AND VISITORS A BLESSED AND MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

If you notice the gorgeous blue lace on the card - that came from my sweet friend, Karin, from the Netherlands.  It is a beautiful shade of blue, soft and delicate - and I love it!!  Thank you, Karin!!

So, I'll be back later with the recipe, but gotta run for now.  So, later gator and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

There's Magic in the Air

Can't you image sledding down a hill at full speed ahead - and just screaming at the top of your lungs "woo-hoooooooo!"  And, go back up the hill and do it all over again!  Yee haw!  I saw this image used on one of the design team members for Paper Cupcakes and had to have the little turtle sledding - she makes me laugh!

The challenge was to use an outdoor or winter scene of some sort.

OSAAT 92

This card is "use a digi" from OSAAT.  Because the image is wonderful, I didn't use much in the way of busy DP or any embellishments.  I did add glitter and stickles for the frost effect in the picture.  But, I think the wolf stands alone and is image enough without decoration.

Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge 72

This card is for challenge 72 at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz blog - which, this week, is to use texture on your card.  I used a piece of cardboard behind the image panel and added a chipboard key sponged with brown and a chipboard crown sponged with blue.  I cut Frankie out and popped him up on the panel.

Card Recipe:

Stamp:  Kenny K's digi - Frankie Knuckles
Paper:  Bo Bunny Etc. Collection DP and My Mind's Eye Lost and Found - Union Square DP; Gina K Luxury 120; SU CS

I might have to actually start wearing winter coats now.  I've been wearing jackets and lightweight coats - but that wasn't enough today.  So, I went to my coat closet and took all my winter coats out of their bags and moved them to the left of the closet.  I even put my snow boots in the front coat closet - just in case!  Yuk!

Hope everyone is well and that your Christmas plans are falling into place!  Later gator!
