MFP's Tutorial Time on SpeedyTV - Luminarias

Not the best picture, but wanted to get a snap of the candle inside the luminaria!  This week, Davi, one of the DT members of MFP's Tutorial Time on SpeedyTV, has given us some instructions on how to make 3 different types of luminarias. 

Be sure to head over to Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.'s Tutorial Time on SpeedyTV - check out Davi's tutorials and get your luminaria made.   Once you arrive at SpeedyTV, click on the Tutorial Time tab and then the most recent challenge!   Once your luminaria is made, you can link your creation into the challenge and you are in the running for an awesome stamp set!

Not a member of SpeedyTV - not a problem.  It's easy peasy and free to join!

Can You Digi It - Challenge 24 - Baby, It's Cold Outside!

Baby, It's Cold Outside!!  This is the theme of the challenge starting today - and running until December 17th.  And, here is the storyboard provided for some inspiration:

My inspiration came from the 2 pictures on the top and bottom right.  I used an adorable image from Loopy4Digis for Can You Digi It titled Musical Penguin.  I also used the wonder digi papers from Green Goddess Creations for Can You Digi It titled Krafty Christmas 1 and 2.  I love these papers and have used them on several different cards this year for Christmas!  The sentiment is just something I typed up on the computer and printed out - it will actually be on the inside of the card.

So, you have a couple of weeks to come up with a card for this fun challenge - and if you enter a card - you are in the running for a prize!

SQUIGGLEFLY NEW ARTIST - ELIZABETA KUSHNER

 

 

Squigglefly has another new artist - and her name is Elizabeta Kushner - she has the most wonderful and adorable images.  This cute image is titled Lady Gnome.  She is really holding a huge strawberry - but because I wanted to make a Christmas card, I just put some poinsettias on top of the strawberry.  The sentiment is from a group of sentiments that Holly Young put together and they are all adorable and fun!!

 

 

The proceeds from the stamps that Elizabeta sells all go to a non-profit organization in Crotia to promote art.
