The challenge at There's Magic in the Air this week is to make a card that isn't round or square. I love this pretty little image from Paper Cupcakes called Autumn Splendor - although the blending in my pumpkin isn't the best on the right side - didn't catch it when I was coloring it - oh, well - I didn't have the time to redo it - so it is what it is. NOTE: You should go and check out the awesome images at Paper Cupcakes - and drop in for a challenge!

Had a rush around and hurry up kinda day today. My DH and I had to run down to Scott AFB to pick up something my DH ordered; drive back and run errands in Lincoln and then DH had to meet one of his friends to go fishing to try out a new pond; then DH back home and out to dinner. I feel like I've been in a revolving door all day!
Another wonderful day here in Central Illinois - high in the low 80's and not much humidity.
Will be off to visit a friend down in Southern Illinois this week-end. In fact, a friend from Pennsylvania is also flying in for a visit down South - it will be a fun week-end. My sweet DH will be alone with our two fur babies - roughing it - ordering take-out and napping!
That's it for the blurb on the blog for now - so, later gator!

The challenge at Kenny K's this week is to use pins and pearls. I used a stick pin and, so, it covered both. I used one of Kenny K's newest Steampunk images, Capt. Locke. All of the new Steampunk images are awesome. I used Craft Chaos Steampunk DP for Capt. Locke's BG.

So, that's it from me right now. Hope all is well with you! Later gator!
I KNOW - ANOTHER WEIRD HALLOWEEN IMAGE. WELL, THIS YEAR, THERE ARE A FEW OF MY FRIENDS THAT ARE GETTING THE SCARY HALLOWEEN CARDS! Clowns creep me out anyway - and this one even more so! It actually gave me the heebee jeebies coloring it.

So, I think I might only have 1 more creepy image to upload before Halloween - and for those of you that hate these type of images - just scroll on past!
Today was another pretty day - with a high of 86 degrees, sunny and not much wind. I'm still hoping for rain for Texas and California - there are such sad stories from the losses.
Thanks for stopping by - later gator!
This little card is actually light blue - and is isn't showing very well. It's a small circle scallop card with a Nativity scene on it. The challenge at CCEE this week was to make a round card and have some stitching on the card. Since I don't sew - I used faux stitching around the outside of the circle with a white gel pen.
Card Recipe:
Stamp: PSX mini Nativity scene
Ink: SU Night of Navy
Paper: SU CS
Accessories: Nesties die; Bella's Blue Baubles
Thanks for looking.
