CCEE Challenge 11-01-2012 - Embedded Flowers
Our CCEE Stampers challenge hostess this month is Vicky Gould - one of the very talented members of CCEE's DT! Vicky's challenge for today is to use the embedded flower technique. I have to say, my flowers didn't embed well even though I shimmed up my EF. And, the fact that two of the flowers are polka dot doesn't help show the embedding of the EF very well. But I will give this a try again! If you'd like to give this technique a try, drop your card into Mr. Linky for everyone to enjoy at the CCEE Stampers blog!
Card Recipe:
Stamp: SU Nature Walk and SU Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: SU Bashful Blue and SU Night of Navy
Ink: SU Night of Navy
Accessories: Flowers from stash; SU Ribbon and SU pearls
Be sure and check out the wonderful cards of the DT over at CCEE for some awesome inspiration.
Thanks for stopping by - later gator!

I love the pretty blue, Kathy. Lovely card!
ReplyDeletethe blue is fabbo and that birdie looks quite content sitting on the ribbon
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty, I love the blue and the addition of the bird.
ReplyDeletePRETTY PRETTY
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Kathy. I do like that bird perched on the ribbon. I'd have to say that I think a folder with more texture does work better with this technique, BUT conversely, a more textured one means the flowers stand out less because they're more smashed into the background. It's a swings and roundabouts situation, I think...both look good, just different.
ReplyDeleteWhat a blue beauty, Kathy!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Kathy. I love the embossing and how it goes so well with the polka dotted flowers.
