SpeedyTV's Inspiration Challenge 36 and CCEE1345

My card today is for two challenges:

First - for SpeedyTV's Inspiration Challenge 36 - Wellies!  Check out these adorable wellies that Shirley has found for our inspiration:

My inspiration was the first picture of the wellies - to use blue and green!  And, I'm giving you a sneak peek of a new set to be showcased next week by the Senior Design Team for Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co. - titled Out on the Town.  This set is awesome and has been so much fun to use.  Don't forget about our blog hop starting Monday the 11th (with the sneak peek of the 5th and mini sets being released) and the hop starts on the 12th!  Why not join us for the Inspiration Challenge at SpeedyTV?!  Not a member - not a problem - it's free and easy to join.  Just go to SpeedyTV and click on challenges, then click on Challenge 36 - and there you are.  Be sure and check out the cards/projects of my very talented team members!

The next challenge is for the CCEE Stampers Challenge 1345 given by Cindy (who is also one of our talented DT members).  Cindy has asked us to use ribbons and lace.  I used a green satin ribbon and some black lace.  Use the hot link and check out the wonderful cards of the CCEE Stampers DT members for some inspiration!

  1. wow this is very beautiful Kathy.

    greetings karin

  2. So chic!!! Like how you incorporated the little branch on the right!

  3. A very pretty card. I like how you stamp the image on the designer paper and, added the lace with ribbon.
    Great coloring.

  4. I can see her stepping right out of the card, KAthy!! What a nice layout with the ribbon and lace on the side, and not overpowering her in a simple outfit. Well done!

  5. I like the strip of ribbon/lace down the side of your card, Kathy. Your lady looks like she IS ready to step "out on the town."

  6. Great bg Kathy - it really shows off this pretty image (which you colored beautifully). Love the lace and ribbon too. Great card for both challenges. I can't wait to see all the new images. Hugz!

  7. so clever to layer the lace over the ribbon....stylin' card

  8. Talk about style, Kathy! That ribbon and lace detailing is a wonderful pairing with your fashionable lady, and what a great use of the DP to set her out on an autumn walk.
