MFP Challenges Speedy 104 and FOSTV 17
This card is for two challenges at Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.: Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge 104 (Sewing - real or faux); and FOSTV Challenge 17 (Flowers).
My DH bought me a new sewing machine so I could stitch on my cards, but I haven't taken the time to learn how yet! So, faux stitching (and not very good at that) for this card. I punched wholes and connected the dots - so to speak.
Card Recipe:
Stamp: Sending Happy Thoughts by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.
Paper: MFP CS
Ink: Copics: Y04, 02, 000; YG05, 03
Accessories: Piercing tool and pad and tiny pearls
Thanks for stopping by - hope to see you again soon - later gator!

That is some fine faux stitching, Kathy. Love the pretty card. My sis gave me a sewing machine about 3 yrs. ago and I still don't use it. Got it out and learned about it but not well enough and never had time to try it again. Ugh!

ReplyDeleteoh I love this Kathy! I think your faux stitching is great and the little pearls are so sweet! I really like the simple layout. I hope you enjoy using your new sewing machine!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet, happy card. Love the yellow and the stitching. I find that when I stitch it causes me such anxiety until it is finished. Seems like if the thread breaks, I really mess up trying to go back and start again. Faux stitching is safer, I think. :)
