CCEE Challenge 1333 Brick Wall Technique

Our talented hostess for the month of August is Vicky Gould - and for today's challenge (1333), Vicky has asked us to use the "brick wall" technique to make this card - which can be found on Splitcoast Stampers' Tutorial section.  For my brick wall - the middle 6 rows are cut apart and glued back on - and the top 3 and bottom 3 rows of bricks are solid.  This is the first time I've actually made a brick wall - always before I used a stamp or EF.  I sure hope you can join us for this fun challenge at CCEE Stampers Blog - just drop your card into Inlinkz for everyone to enjoy!!

Card Recipe:

Stamp:  Brick Wall by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.
Paper:  MFP Hazelnut Tan CS; SU Tempting Turquoise and Ivory CS
Ink:  Holtz Antique Linen for the bricks

Thanks so much for stopping by - later gator!

  4. Wonderful work outlining all the brick, Kathy. It adds to the aged, mellow feel of your wall, and I love that blue floral vine growing up it. The colour of those bricks is so like a lot of the buildings in Paris, too, and not at all a colour we see here.
