MFP's Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge 219 - 4 squares

Good morning and welcome to a new Saturday MFP Speedy Fox & Friends challenge!  Today (Challenge 219) is to make a card with four squares in the BG.  Dare I actually reveal my stupidity - well, at first I just caught a glance of the Challenge 219 and saw "four square" - well, in my mind - that was, of course, a flashback to algebra, geometry - so, I made a card 4 inches square.  Yes I did!

I am giving you a sneak peek of a new stamp set to be released at the July 15-18 Senior Blog Hop - this adorable set is titled Chinese Take Out.  There are several images and sentiments in this awesome set.

Card Recipe:

Stamp:  Sneak Peek - Chinese Take Out by MFP
Paper:  MFP White Heavy Premium 140 lb. CS; SU Tempting Turquoise; Scrap DP
Ink:  YR04, 02 and 00; E53, 51 and 50
Accessories:  SB Square Dies; Wire handle from an actual Chinese take out box; Pop Dots

I hope you'll join us at this new and fun challenge and, remember, there is a stamp set as a prize to the weekly challenge winner.

Thanks for stopping by - later gator!

  1. Cute design. I never thought about putting the fortune cookie on the take out box. Genious!!

  2. Sweet stamp set Good job on the challenge......Lis

  3. Love it!!!! Love those for squares framing this adorable card! Love the handle!

  4. What a great way to use four squares!! Love the whole Asian look to them and everything else on your card!! Wonderful!

  5. Your card is so cute, I love it. I like that you used the wire handle from a real Chinese take out box. (I bet it came from the restaurant that I really like in your area) I also like the colors you chose to showcase this new set.

  6. I love this new set! Is that a real wire handle? Too cute! You know, my daughter's Sorority mascot is the Panda so I am going to be using this one a lot. Cute card. Hugz!
