The Flying Unicorn - Mojo Monday Challenge for week of 5-18-2015

Happy Wednesday!  Today, I am sharing a layout for the Mojo Monday challenge at The Flying Unicorn blog.

Below is the sketch drawn by Alda, owner of The Flying Unicorn.  I tried using my photo box, moving the page every which place - but for some reason - could not get a decent photo.  The colors all around the edges are blue and the stenciling is paste mixed with a pretty blue acrylic paint.  IRL it is a combination of lovely blues.  I even used my new camera.

Below is a picture of the sketch by Alda.

Layout Recipe:

Paper:  13 Arts Mental Vacation - Forever Skies (from the Flying Unicorn May Main Kit of the Month)
Bird cut from Monsieur Charles Collection from Flying Unicorn April Kit of the Month)
Medium: Finnabair/Prima Art Basics Texture paste mixed with Steel Blue acrylic paint
Stencil:  13 Arts Mental Vacation Tattered Grid (from the Flying Unicorn May Main Kit of the Month)
Smile from the Dear Lizzy Watercolor Words Collection (Flying Unicorn April Kit of the Month)
Flowers:  Petaloo - Painted with Steel Blue and Winter Blue Acrylic Paints
