THE OWL'S EYES



I've always been in awe of owls - they are amazing.  And, their eyes seem like they can see one's soul!  In any event, this page is just for fun.  I didn't use texture paste with my stencil, but, rather, used a copper colored Gelly pen and traced through the stencil.  You actually have to click on the picture to see the stenciling, but I like how it turned out - next time I will probably use black. And, I loved an idea on one of Heather Jacob's pages and scraplifted it - she does gorgeous work!

I am going to enter this into the current 7 Dots Studio challenge - to use wood grain.  The page directly behind my owl reminds me of wood grain and was in the 6x6 Lost and Found paper pack.  Below is the 7 Dots Studio current challenge graphic:
