Today is my pretty and sweet daughter-in-law's birthday today - Happy Birthday Jen - love you!!!!!
This sweet little fairy is a Lilybean Clover Snowflake Fairy. I have tried 3 versions of this card and finally settled for this one. For some reason, I just couldn't get the right feel for it - and I'm not sure I still feel right about it - but this is what is going on Danni's Flutterby site. I love this little image, but just couldn't decide what background was right.
Card Recipe:
Stamp: Digi - Lilybean Clover Snowflake Fairy
Paper: Prima Fairy Flora and Seven Gypsies; SU Whisper White and Night of Navy
Ink: Copics
Accessories: Sizzix set of 5 snowflake dies; SU rhinestones and Hero Arts tiny snowflakes
Well, we had some needed rain this morning, but just not enough - will be dragging out the hose and setting a soaker hose on the white pines for 15-20 minutes each (after my Honeypie puts a rubber gasket in one of the hose heads). We had a lot of thunder and lightning this morning and then it just blew itself out -leaving really gusty winds. You know, I think anyone could be a weather person on radio or tv - just look outside before you do your broadcast and you got it made! Then if you need the forecast projections - heck, just check Weatherbug!
Ms. Ruby, my Redbud tree, is losing some of her leaves now - just like a big girl tree! Fortunately, her little leaves just blow away - no raking involved. Some of the large trees in the cemetery across the road are dropping leaves by the bags full - and blowing on down the road with the wind today.
Well, that's it for the blurb on the blog this afternoon - I may have another card to upload later - just haven't decided yet. If not, later gator!
lovely farie and card.
