MMSC75 - Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge 75

This sketch gave me a run for the money - as the saying goes.  For some reason, I just couldn't come up with anything that was a go.  Finally, I was moving around the Prima flower jars and the bottle of silver and silver glitter flowers just caused everything into click into place.  I ended up liking the final direction that the card took - so it's getting submitted for the MMSC75.

Card Recipe:

Stamp:  SU Flowers in Silhouette (embossed with silver)
Paper:  DCWV Silver Metallic; Black CS - Michael's; Black DP - unknown; and SU White
Ink:  Versamark
Accessories:  Prima silver glitter flower; SU rhinestones; Pink Hedgehog ribbon; silver embossing powder

So, I met one of my friends, Debbie, at Panera Bread for lunch today.  Can you say very long waiting line!  It actually moved pretty fast and we got our food and sat down.  Have you ever just stopped and listed to parts of conversations around you?  It's actually amazing what people will talk about out in public.  My friend got up and went to the restroom - so I am eating and since there are people all around me - you just can't help but hear what they're saying - it's not intentional eavesdropping.  I'm pretty sure you could write a best selling book on just the lunch conversations - even though you'd have to change the names to protect the not so innocent.  It's hard to sit there and not laugh and turn around to people and say, "get a clue - what do you mean you don't know why your husband is leaving you - you just told your friend you've been messing around with 2 of your husband's "alleged" friends.  Give me a break!!  I didn't turn around because I didn't know them and because it's none of my business - but I sure did want to tell her to get a clue!!  Heck, if I knew her husband, I'd give him the name of the best divorce lawyer in the area!  Okay, getting off my soap box now.

So, I feel better now that I've ranted a little bit!  That's it for the blurb on the blog - so, later gator!
